Available only in a controlled-production run of 3,500, this exceptional Limited Edition celebrates both the 110th anniversary of Seiko watchmaking and the 40th anniversary of Seiko's - and the world���������s - first analog quartz chronograph, which offered a 1/100-second stopwatch. Featuring the new solar chronograph 8A50 movement, powered by any light source, with no battery change required and a 6-month power reserve when fully charged, this remarkable timepiece provides chronograph measurement of up to 60 minutes of elapsed time in 1/100-second increments with a split time function. The concave tops of the hammer-shaped pushers allow easy utilization of the stopwatch feature. For enhanced legibility, the uniquely designed dial includes a white base with four inset black subdials, separating the time dial from the chronograph indicators, LumiBrite hands and markers, and, in tribute to the 1913 Laurel, Seiko���������s first wristwatch, red hands on the top three subdials. With a curved anti-reflective sapphire crystal, this durable stainless steel timepiece includes a screwdown caseback and tri-fold push button release clasp, and comes with an additional dark brown sustainable leather strap certified by the Leather Working Group (LWG).
