Product Description

Seiko 5 Sports Yuto Horigome Limited Edition. This dramatic Limited Edition, available only in a controlled production run of 4,000, with the production serial number engraved on the caseback, honors international champion skateboarder Yuto Horigome, displaying his signature logo on both the dial and the screwdown, see-through caseback. Inspired by the vintage designs worn by early pilots, a favorite of Horigome, this impressive timepiece blends genuine style with durability and all-day versatility. Providing automatic technology that you control with every movement, the distinctive watch is powered by a 24-jewel movement that beats at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, with a power reserve of approximately 41 hours and manual winding capability. A 60-minute track marked in five-minute increments frames the striking black-brown gradated dial, featuring a day/date calendar, retro beige-tone LumiBrite hands and markers, and an orange-tipped second hand for a bright punctuation. The case is crafted of stainless steel and is complemented by an embossed black leather strap. 10 bar, 100M Water Resistant. Presented in a Limited Edition collectors box.

Brand History

Seiko, founded in 1881 by Kintaro Hattori in Tokyo, began as a watch and clock repair shop before launching its first wristwatch, the Laurel, in 1913. The Seiko brand debuted in 1924, symbolizing precision and craftsmanship. In 1969, Seiko revolutionized the industry with the Seiko Astron, the world’s first quartz wristwatch. The company also pioneered technologies like the Kinetic in the 1980s and Spring Drive in 1999, blending mechanical elegance with quartz accuracy. Today, Seiko is renowned for its innovations and diverse offerings, from affordable watches to high-end models under its Grand Seiko line.
