Product Description

Presage Style60's Collection. Offering the finest in Japanese mechanical watchmaking, the Presage Collection blends precision technology with superior craftsmanship and design. With broad angular lines and such vintage details as box-shaped crystals, faceted indices and sharp hand design, plus the use of neutrals and earth tones, the Style60's collection creates a warm, retro feel. Celebrating the fresh spirit of the 1960s, the collection takes particular inspiration from Seikos 1964 Crown Chronograph, Japans first watch with a stopwatch function. Framed by a black bezel, the black dial of this dramatic timepiece features a date calendar, as well as beige LumiBrite hands and markers. The screwdown see-through caseback provides a view of the 23-jewel movement with manual winding capability, a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and a power reserve of approximately 41 hours. Crafted of stainless steel with black hard coating, this exceptional watch includes a black deerskin strap, and a box-shaped crystal. 5 bar, 50M Water Resistant

Brand History

Seiko, founded in 1881 by Kintaro Hattori in Tokyo, began as a watch and clock repair shop before launching its first wristwatch, the Laurel, in 1913. The Seiko brand debuted in 1924, symbolizing precision and craftsmanship. In 1969, Seiko revolutionized the industry with the Seiko Astron, the world’s first quartz wristwatch. The company also pioneered technologies like the Kinetic in the 1980s and Spring Drive in 1999, blending mechanical elegance with quartz accuracy. Today, Seiko is renowned for its innovations and diverse offerings, from affordable watches to high-end models under its Grand Seiko line.
