Product Description

Discover the timeless blend of Swiss precision and elegance with the iconic Rado Florence. The 39 mm case is crowned with an edge-to-edge sapphire crystal, featuring a metallised edge that matches the stainless steel case. This sapphire crystal functions both as the protective front and as a bezel, seamlessly integrated into the case to enhance the Florence iconic refined profile. Serving as a theatre scene, the grey dial showcases extreme attention to detail with its sophisticated embossed pattern. The contrasting rose gold-coloured applied hour markers, topped by the moving Rado anchor symbol, finished with brushing and polishing, create a hypnotising contrast against the grey background. The case is complemented by a bi-tone bracelet combining polished rose gold-coloured PVD-coated stainless steel links with brushed stainless steel links, secured by a stainless steel three-fold clasp. Beneath the box-shaped sapphire crystal case back lies the soul of the Florence: the Automatic R763 calibre. Finely regulated in five positions and featuring a Nivachron™ hairspring, this movement delivers a high level of accuracy and a robust 80-hour power reserve, underlining Rado's commitment to perfection.

Brand History

Rado, founded in 1917 in Lengnau, Switzerland, began as the Schlup & Co. clockwork factory. The brand launched its first collection of watches in 1957 under the name Rado. Renowned for its pioneering use of materials, Rado introduced the DiaStar in 1962, the world’s first scratch-resistant watch. The company continues to innovate with high-tech ceramics, sapphire crystal, and plasma treatments. Known for its sleek, modern designs, Rado has earned the nickname “The Master of Materials.” Today, it’s celebrated globally for its fusion of cutting-edge technology and timeless elegance.
