Brand History

G-Shock, created by Casio in 1983, was the brainchild of engineer Kikuo Ibe, who aimed to design an unbreakable watch. The result was the DW-5000C, featuring a shock-resistant structure, 200-meter water resistance, and unparalleled durability. G-Shock quickly became popular for its toughness, functionality, and bold design, appealing to athletes, military personnel, and adventurers. Over the years, the brand introduced advanced features like solar power, Bluetooth connectivity, and GPS. Celebrated for its innovation and resilience, G-Shock remains a global icon, known for watches that are “built to last.”
