Product Description

Command the sea in style with the new Promaster Dive. This iconic Citizen men’s dive watch is the latest addition to the Promaster Sea collection with a...strikingly original design inspired by the majestic Orca whale. The sporty and functional dive timepiece features a silver-tone stainless steel case accented by a blue three-hand dial and date with elliptical white hour indices and bezel indentations that evoke the shapes of the orca, plus pops of color at the 12 o’clock marker and minute hand. This ISO-compliant dive watch also features anti-magnetic and anti-shock resistance, a one-way rotating elapsed-time bezel, and luminous hands and markers filled with a superior lume for legibility. The blue polyurethane strap mimics the form of the orca’s fin and fastens with a buckle, and the watch is water resistant up to 200 meters with a screw-down crown, making it a perfect companion on your next dive. Sustainably powered by any light with Eco-Drive technology that never needs a battery, this is the ultimate dive watch to own and comes in a unique scuba tank-inspired box for the serious diver and collector.

Brand History

In the Japan of the 1920s, most of the watches sold were pocket watches imported from overseas. Determined to create a Japan-made rival product, the Shokosha Watch Research Institute, the precursor of CITIZEN, launched its own pocket watch in 1924. As a first product, it was magnificent—but it lacked a name. Tokyo Mayor Count Shinpei Goto was asked to suggest one. The name he came up with was “CITIZEN,” an expression of the hope that as many people as possible—citizens—would use and cherish the watch for a long time.
