Product Description

The new Star Wars™ Millennium Falcon Ana-Digi timepiece from Citizen honors every detail of the iconic starship. This black IP stainless-steel rectangular...case watch is packed with features, including dual time and light speed-inspired sub-dials in sleek gray with subtle red accents. The new watch is an update to a previous Ana-Digi model and inspired by an original Citizen analog-digital watch from the 1980s. This time, we’re introducing sleek screw details on the bezel, a black stainless-steel bracelet in a new tapered style, and a footprint of 33.4mm in width by 45.4mm in length. It also includes the digital time, day, date, and temperature, making it a unique and standout timepiece to add to any collection.

Brand History

In the Japan of the 1920s, most of the watches sold were pocket watches imported from overseas. Determined to create a Japan-made rival product, the Shokosha Watch Research Institute, the precursor of CITIZEN, launched its own pocket watch in 1924. As a first product, it was magnificent—but it lacked a name. Tokyo Mayor Count Shinpei Goto was asked to suggest one. The name he came up with was “CITIZEN,” an expression of the hope that as many people as possible—citizens—would use and cherish the watch for a long time.
