Product Description

This Accutron limited edition Legacy collection timepiece reimagines a classic watch from 1971, the Date and Day “Q”. With just 600 pieces available in this case design, this exclusive luxury timepiece features a beautifully streamlined oval case design and crown placement at 4 o’clock, a silver-tone stainless steel case and dark blue dial, and grey applied Roman numerals and blue-accented day/date feature. The look is capped off with a white accent-stitched dark blue leather grain strap. Reborn from the past, and built for the future, this watch will make a statement everywhere it goes.

Brand History

The Accutron, introduced by Bulova in 1960, was a groundbreaking electronic wristwatch featuring a tuning fork mechanism, making it the first of its kind. This innovation, developed by Max Hetzel, replaced the traditional balance wheel with a tuning fork oscillating at 360 Hz, driven by a transistor oscillator. The Accutron's precision was significantly higher than mechanical watches of the time, boasting an accuracy of 99.9977%, or about one minute per month.
