Product Description

Introducing the newest addition to the Le Kool women’s collection. Featuring our iconic “261” case shape with a black stingray strap, this Legacy timepiece embodies the aesthetic of the TV era of the 60s and 70s with a television-shaped case. Boasting a big, bold linear cushion with organic exaggerated domed circle in the center, this 261 timepiece calls to mind space-age retro chic.

Brand History

The Accutron, introduced by Bulova in 1960, was a groundbreaking electronic wristwatch featuring a tuning fork mechanism, making it the first of its kind. This innovation, developed by Max Hetzel, replaced the traditional balance wheel with a tuning fork oscillating at 360 Hz, driven by a transistor oscillator. The Accutron's precision was significantly higher than mechanical watches of the time, boasting an accuracy of 99.9977%, or about one minute per month.
