Product Description

New York icons Hudson Whiskey and Accutron have united to craft the limited edition Accutron Spaceview Evolution x Hudson Whiskey timepiece. Featuring our proprietary Accutron movement powered by electrostatic energy—a historical advancement in timekeeping and the first of its kind—the new Spaceview Evolution collection utilizes the same iconic and distinctive case of the Spaceview 2020. This exclusive timepiece features an updated orientation of the movement by 30 degrees to give the watch an entirely new look—with tilted turbines and the crown positioned at two o’clock. New bridgework detail is also incorporated along with perlage accents to mimic the blending kettles and green screws that pay homage to Hudson Whiskey. A blackout style open-work dial with metal dial rings contrast the white super luminous markers, hour and minute hands. The seconds hand and tuning fork at the 12 o’clock are rose-gold tone as a nod to the distillery’s equipment. The luxe black calf skin strap features green contrast-stitch accents and a peek-a-boo rose gold-tone Hudson Whiskey bottle icon on the strap’s underside. Limited to just 144 exclusive timepieces, this partnership honors tradition and innovation, reflecting the dedication and spirit of both brands. Experience unparalleled excellence with every moment.

Brand History

The Accutron, introduced by Bulova in 1960, was a groundbreaking electronic wristwatch featuring a tuning fork mechanism, making it the first of its kind. This innovation, developed by Max Hetzel, replaced the traditional balance wheel with a tuning fork oscillating at 360 Hz, driven by a transistor oscillator. The Accutron's precision was significantly higher than mechanical watches of the time, boasting an accuracy of 99.9977%, or about one minute per month.
